Standox has expanded the VOC Nonstop Primer Surfacer U7580 line with two new colour options – White and Grey – replacing the former Light Grey. The existing Black shade continues as part of the system, creating a streamlined three-shade concept: White, Grey and Black.

This update gives refinishers more precise shade selection within the system, helping achieve closer colour matches while reducing the number of basecoat layers required. The result is improved coverage and greater efficiency in the spray booth.

Formulated for flexibility, the U7580 is a VOC-compliant primer surfacer that delivers a versatile solution for multi-substrate refinishing. It provides excellent adhesion and corrosion protection on steel, aluminium and plastics, while its wet-on-wet, one-visit application reduces process steps. With short flash-off times, a long pot life and full compatibility with Standoblue Basecoat and Standocryl VOC Topcoat systems, it helps bodyshops achieve efficient, reliable results with ease.

As a result of this update, the U7580 Light Grey has now been phased out and discontinued from the product range.
