User videos for demanding painters
The art of painting is to achieve a final result making the repair invisible. The experts at Standox know how to do this – and they are now sharing their know-how in user videos. With "Standovision", they give professional painters advice on correct and economical use of Standox products.
Painting errors can happen, but should not. The experts from Standox know this too and have set out to pass on their know-how to companies – in the form of training courses, application-related information and, now, new practical user videos. As a leading partner of automobile manufacturers, the Wuppertal-based repair paint brand has been sharing its know-how and innovative products for over 60 years; effectively supporting paint shops and bodyshops. "Our goal is to provide companies with assistance and take them to the top of the industry," says Olaf Adamek, EMEA Brand Manager at Standox.
Sharing knowledge in user videos
With the Standovision videos, Standox wants to help both young professionals and experienced painters achieve good results as quickly as possible. "Proper use of our products is our top priority," says Adamek. And this can also be seen in the videos: An application engineer from Standox explains in simple terms how to repair vehicle parts most efficiently and what the relevant painting technology involves. The refinish brand consciously relies on experienced employees. "After all, they know our products best and know what they're talking about. Other painters will also benefit from this.” The Standovision videos are also available on the Standox website.
Tip for the application of Standoblue Basecoat
In the first Standovision video "Standoblue Painting Guide" technician Tony Mitchell demonstrates how to optimally paint a full vehicle side. Important aspects such as application in 1.5 spray passes, control of overlap zones and gun distance are discussed. The second Standovision video shows how to paint a bonnet and gives tips on how to avoid cloud formations. Take a look – you'll find the videos here.
