The team of "Jan Voortman Autoschade" in the Dutch province of South Holland repair and paint cars and commercial vehicles. The firm has used Standox products for about 30 years. Colors invoke associations and stand for certain values. In vehicles, they also accentuate the shapes and lines of bodywork. But as bold as color may be in many spheres of life, chromatic colors are not very popular on cars. The Standox Color Trend Reports show that the automotive color spectrum has been rather monotonous for many decades and has been spared the fast changes that are so common in the fashion industry.

"Alubeam" is the name of a color which was first launched by Mercedes in 2007 on an exclusive edition of forty CL 65 AMG performance coupés.
Now this silver shade with its extreme metallic finish is offered on the SLS AMG as well as other models on customer request.

Zvonimir Simunovic will take over the position of Brand Manager at the Wuppertal-based paints manufacturer Standox from December 1. He succeeds Dr. Julio Salcedas who held this position for four years.

The new Multimix effect color fan is a valuable tool for the refinisher that makes it easier for him to communicate with customers from trade and industrial markets. The fan shows original paint samples of the many possible Multimix finishes including textures, degrees of gloss and aluminium colors.

Honda Motor Europe (HME) has once again chosen Standox to be part of its Approved European Paint Partner scheme. Standox advanced technology products and processes will be recommended to Honda Approved Bodyshops across Europe for repairs to Honda vehicles. This builds on the success of the previous 5-year Standox approval.
